The date sheet of Class 10th, 12th CBSE Board examinations 2021 is out. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Tuesday announced the date sheet for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examination of classes 10 and 12 for this year. Announcing the date sheets, the Minister informed that sufficient days have been given between the exams of two main subjects. This will give ample time to students for preparation and reduce the stress of the students, he added. He also extended his best wishes to the students for their exams.
“Dear Students, hereby announcing the much-awaited date-sheet of @cbseindia29 board exams of X & XII. Please be assured that we have done our best to ensure that these exams go smoothly for you. Wish you good luck!,” Union Education Minister tweeted.
The board exams are usually held in February-March but were delayed this year due to the pandemic situation.
The board examinations, which are scheduled to begin from 4 May, will end on 7 June for class 10 students and 11 June for class 12 students. Practical examinations will be conducted by schools from March 1. The results of the board exams will be announced by July 15.

CBSE notification on board exam dates
The CBSE notification released today described how the board exams would be held and shared some other information as below:
1) Sufficient time has been given between the board exam dates of the main subjects of both class 10 and class 12 so students can prepare in ease.
2) Class 12 exams are being held in 2 shifts to reduce the exam stress and the number of days over which the board exams would be conducted. The second shift exams comprise those which are not held by CBSE schools located abroad.
3) Second shift exams would be conducted on 4 days. In the morning shift of these days, CBSE will hold the major class 10 exams in which most of the exam centres will be used. Very few exam centres would be used in the afternoon shift exams.

4) Keeping in view the pandemic and in order to keep school staff stress-free, those who work in the morning shift will not be given any work in the afternoon shift.
5) The CBSE board exams 2021 will be completed in 39 days, which is 6 days lesser than the schedule created for board exams 2020.
6) In class 10, 75 board exams will be conducted, while in class 12, exams of 111 subjects will be conducted.
7) The CBSE board exam date sheets have been prepared in a way such that the total number of students in an exam centre wouldn’t be more on any day. This is so that the exam centres can strictly follow the Covid-19 safety norms and manage the exams well.
In December last year, Ramesh Pokhriyal had informed that the CBSE will be conducting the board examination for class 10 and 12 from May 4 to June 10.
