Elon Musk’s pursuit of expanding his lineage has taken a controversial turn, with reports detailing his efforts to father more children with various women, aiming to combat declining birth rates. Tiffany Fong, a well-known crypto influencer, reportedly declined a private proposal from Elon Musk to have his baby, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Fong, who has over 340,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter) and 48,000 subscribers on YouTube, said Musk’s request came as a shock—especially since they had never met in person. Despite being flattered, she said she envisions raising children in a “more traditional nuclear family.” .
Elon Musk unfollowed Tiffany Fong on social media after she privately shared the proposal with friends, one of whom—Ashley St Clair—later revealed she had Musk’s child. Following this, Fong’s follower count and earnings dropped.
Fong, born in Las Vegas and a graduate in journalism from the University of Southern California, gained fame during the crypto market turmoil. She became known for covering the Celsius Network collapse and interviewing FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried.
This incident adds another layer to Musk’s complex personal life. Currently, Musk has 14 known children with four women: Justine Wilson, Grimes, Shivon Zilis, and Ashley St Clair.

Tiffany Fong is a cryptocurrency content creator and self-described “reluctant crypto journalist.” A 2017 communications graduate of the University of Southern California (USC), Fong entered the cryptocurrency world during the COVID-19 pandemic, initially investing $200,000 in Celsius Network.
Fong rose to greater prominence through her coverage of the 2022 FTX collapse. She conducted multiple interviews with FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) while he was under house arrest. During this time, SBF provided her with over 200 pages of private documents, including notes and draft tweets concerning Caroline Ellison, his former girlfriend and a key witness for the prosecution. Fong later shared some of these documents with The New York Times, which influenced Ellison’s trial.
